This tool can find all your photos on the Internet; Here's how!

While facial recognition technologies can be helpful in some cases, they have several privacy-related concerns. However, that doesn't mean companies aren't using the technology to provide face-searching services. PimEyes is one such service that allows you to perform face searches on anyone. You can upload a photo of yourself or someone else and it gives you pretty accurate results of all the photos on the internet that match the face in your uploaded photo. See details below right.

Developed in 2017, PimEyes uses a combination of advanced facial recognition technology and a search engine to find a person's photo(s) on the Internet. The organization believes that everyone has the right to find out if their photos are being used for identity theft or on an explicit website, and to claim their photo rights or request that their photos be removed if they are being used without permission.

PimEyes works like a search engine for images that uses modern technologies such as facial recognition, artificial intelligence, and reverse image searches. Users can simply upload an image of a face to start their search. Once the photo is uploaded to the PimEyes website, the tool scours the internet and takes less than a second to find the photo of the person in question. Now, it's worth mentioning that PimEyes doesn't take social media platforms into account when conducting its searches. The tool searches for publicly-available images on blogs, websites, and other public platforms.

I tried PimEyes official website. Once I uploaded my photo and agreed to the privacy policy, I got the result in just 0.79 seconds and it was pretty accurate. You can check the search results for my photos in the screenshot attached below.

So, as you can see, all search results are taken from our Beebom website where I previously uploaded my photos. The tool didn't go through my social media profile to get the picture. Instead it searches public websites like our platform to find images

Now, it's worth mentioning that PimEyes is not freeware and requires a subscription to access certain features. For starters, although you can perform a search by uploading a photo, you need a subscription plan to access the search results source website.

You can either opt for a monthly plan that starts at $29.99/month (~ Rs. 2,320) for the entry-level plan, goes up to $299.99/month (~ Rs. 23,200) for the advanced plan.
