Samsung Galaxy Fold 4, Flip 4 to see significant storage upgrade: report

Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 and Flip 4 can be considered the most anticipated phones this year. From design leaks to spec sheet leaks, we've seen countless rumors, and the latest to join the list is the storage details of these two foldable devices, which could see some significant upgrades. And as a result, the price may increase! Here are the details.

Samsung Galaxy Fold 4, Flip 4 storage details leaked

SamMobile suggests that the Galaxy Fold 4 will come with a massive 1TB of storage, much like the Galaxy S22 Ultra launched earlier this year. This will be a significant upgrade for those looking for more storage and will come in addition to 256GB and 512GB storage models. Both of these options already exist for the Galaxy Fold 3.

The Galaxy Flip 4, on the other hand, could come with 512GB of storage as the higher-end model. This will double the 256GB storage model of the Galaxy Z Flip 3. The foldable phone is said to come in three storage options: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.

Both the Galaxy Fold 4 and Galaxy Flip 4 will not come with memory card support like their predecessors. An increase in RAM may also mean an increase in price. While the Galaxy Z Fold 4 can be priced at $2,000 (~ Rs 1,55,000) for the 1TB storage option, the Galaxy Flip 3 can go up to $1,100 (~ Rs 85,400) for the 512GB storage option. Although it can still start from $999 (~Rs 77,600).

Apart from this, we have details about their design and specs. Both foldable phones may resemble their predecessors with minor changes here and there. They might bring some upgrades on the hardware front as well. These include the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset under the hood, various camera improvements, display upgrades, and improved battery life. The Galaxy Fold 4 is expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate for both the internal and external displays.

But you should know that these details are currently rumors and Samsung hasn't provided anything specific. We have to wait for the official information and it could happen in a few months, probably in August, which is the expected launch date. We will keep you updated as we get more information on this. So, stay with this space.
