Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales are officially coming to PC

It's happening! After years of waiting, PC players will finally get to taste Marvel's web-slinging superhero in all its glory. PlayStation's Spider-Man series, including Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales, is coming to PC. 

The best part is that you don't have to wait that long. Both titles in the series were previously launched as PlayStation exclusives. But after the success of other PS exclusive titles like God of War on PC, other game studios seem to want to cash in on the interest of PC players. Fans are welcoming the change with open arms. With that, let's see what we should expect.

The first modern Spider-Man game was released in 2018 exclusively for PS4 and PS5. It has sold over 33 million copies worldwide as of May 2022 And now that number is about to break the record with a remastered version of the game slated for release on August 12, 2022 on PC. The announcement was made at State of Play 2022 with a short trailer.

We are yet to get any details on the minimum and recommended system requirements to run the game. Although, considering its open-world factor and complex mechanics, they should be as good as any AAA title released this year. According to the PlayStation Blog, the PC release will have adjustable graphics, RTX support, and even support for keyboards and mice. The same goes for the second title in the series.

The second title in the series, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales will also arrive for PC users in the fall of 2022. We haven't received any official footage, exact release date or details yet. In fact, this title wasn't even announced at the State of Play showcase. Instead, developer Insomniac Games later confirmed it in a post on the PlayStation Blog.

We hope that both these titles will allow us to have more polished gameplay using the expanded possibilities of the powerful PC platform. Aside from the original titles, Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered will release with Marvel's Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps DLC that adds three additional chapters to our hero's story.
