The Last of Us Remake is eventually coming to PS5 and PC

It's time to reload your guns, turn off the lights and get ready for the zombie fight. One of the most famous zombie survival horror games of all time is finally getting a remake and this time, it's for two of the most powerful gaming platforms. Yes, the Last of You remake is releasing on PS5 and PC later this year and here's what we know!

The Last of Us remake opens in September

The remake of one of Naughty Dog's most popular games, The Last of Us is coming to PS5 on 2nd September 2022. Its PC version is being developed for later release. Right now there is no official release date or even release year announced for the PC version. But interestingly, the name of the remake is "The Last of Us Part 1". So, the idea of a remake of the second part or at least a PC version is not out of the window.

According to the developers, the remake features the same story with improved character models, better visuals and an overall improved gameplay experience. The upgrades in the upcoming The Last of Us Part 1 are huge, even compared to the 2014 remastered version of the game.

The remake will cost $69.99 for PS5 and will also include the game's prequel DLC named The Last of Us Left Before. You can expect pre-orders to open soon on PlayStation Direct.

Earlier this month, a remastered version of Marvel's Spider-Man for PC was also announced. And since Last of Us is also following the same steps, it won't be long before other PS exclusive games reach PC players as well. With that in mind, what other exclusive games would you like to get on PC? I'm hoping for Ghost of Tsushima. Share your favorites in the comments!
